Reviews and Ratings
Staying at this hotel was quite an experience. The location was superb, just a 15-minute walk to the bustling harborside Kona with plenty of dining and retail options. The rooms, however, had some street noise being on the first floor, but it was a relief to have air conditioning in both the bedroom and living room. The service felt like being in an apartment complex - the staff was attentive and accommodating to my requests for extra cleaning each day.
When I walked into the room and looked out of the enormous patio doors, the view of the ocean was absolutely breathtaking. The proximity to town, restaurants, and shops was convenient. However, the rooms could use a deep cleaning and new furniture.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of good and not-so-good experiences. While the room was sparkling clean and had a side view of the ocean, it definitely needs a serious update. The service, available only 9 to 5, felt more like dealing with an apartment complex - they were nice in listening to my complaints but weren't ready to offer any compensation. The location, with its close proximity to various dining options and a sandy spot for activities, was very convenient, but the parking setup was more of a hassle than a perk. The dining experience, not being an on-site option, was limited to fresh orange juice, making it insufficient for our needs.
